i’ll let you in on a (not-so-)secret : i’m a sucker for black watch plaid. i grew up with it, wearing it every day for seven years of my school life.
since i’ve departed that school (all the way back in ’91), i’ve wanted some article of clothing in that tartan and i’ll fall over myself to get a glimpse of a beret, scarf, jacket, pants, vest, skirt, and purses in the tartan.
i can count on being able to find the scarf at the tie rack and for a few years it was my thing… but i kept losing it and currently don’t own one. so what do i do when i saw a dramatic wrap at the tie rack? buy it, of course! it’s one of those things i’m possibly not yet old enough to wear but i’ll grow into it. it’s timeless.
