Apparently you can gain weight even while training for a marathon. Me, I’ve been maintaining. Aggravatingly so.
So the solution – always with an looming vacation as the ultimate motivation – is for The Sister to draw up a two-week diet to starve me of all snacks, processed foods, refined sugars, and bad carbs. (Though it is not listed on the menu/picture, I should add that I do have breakfast cereal and two pieces of fruit in addition to what is listed.)
