There is an upside to the Kirin Restaurant servers portioning out the dishes equally for everyone: I did not have to scramble to take a picture of the dish while forcing others to wait before digging in.

The downside: If we were serving ourselves, I would most certainly have nabbed more jellyfish, roasted pig (er, pork) with crispy skin, and the yummiest smoked B.C. salmon.
