Bubbleless

I lead a fairly simple life. I run as much as I can. I try to eat with the major focus on having energy. That means bubble tea – even with half-sugar – is an infrequent luxury.

Still, as with many other things in Vancouver that I don’t often frequent (Asian mega-market, T&T, and high-end healthy market, Capers, come to mind), I am grateful to live in a city where so many choices are available to me. When we went to Al’s with our bounty of bubble tea (sans bubbles), I was momentarily thrilled that I live very (very) close to the best bbt chain in the city.

Side note: Bubbleworld has introduced different flavours of jelly which I happily forgo tapioca “pearls” for. They have (regular) coconut, green apple, passionfruit, and grape! I have to try them all!

On this day..

Yay, bubble tea!! My favorite is almond flavor, cold with lots of ice.

I love almond and nutty ones when they are hot. I especially like the black sesame when it’s hot. Yum. :)
