A supervisor told me there was a triumvirate in your life that if they all went well, you should consider your life as perfectly peachy. What were they again? Friends/Family – Work/School – Relationship?
Currently, the friends/family and relationship bit seem to be going quite well. Without getting into a lot of detail, I feel like I’ve made some kind of breakthrough. Work is there, if not ideal. As with all three parts of the triumvirate/triangle, it’s up to us to make the most of what we’re given.
As with the past weekends, Hallowe’en weekend was really nice. We got together to set off fireworks but my favourite part was standing in a circle holding extra-long sparklers like a candlelight ceremony. I know, I am hokey. NPY left me with the “wives and girlfriends” while he went to play hockey and I was entertained and stimulated while surrounded by their scrapbooking activity.
I really don’t think working with glue/dots and fabrics/materials suits me; however, given how “digital” I am, the online version (a.k.a. sites like ScrapBlog.com) beckons to me. It’s a bit like a glorified and user-friendly way to make a PowerPoint-esque slide show. This first “scrapbook” was made from a template and my next one might start from blank slides/pages. Given how I painstakingly curate and annotate my Flickr pictures, you can tell I have some ideas floating around my in head… there is more to come… it’s just a matter of when.
