He says, “Sleeping right near my feet seems so comfortable!”
NPY’s evening–hurrrrgh!–was a gentleman’s evening of poker and beer. Last I heard, he was up $45 and goodness knows how long they were at it!
Oh, drat. Had I realized the moon was in the shot, I would have tried to not clip it off. Afterall, this is the time of year when Chinese people are more conscious of the moon cycle, just 3 days out from the best full moon of the year which we celebrate with Mid-Autumn Festival.
While killing some time before we could get into a restaurant, we walked by a park and Lil Sis’ wanted to get on the swings. Sadly, we hadn’t swung so high when she started to groan from the flip-flop feeling in her stomach of speeding through air in reversing directions. I started to feel queasy which was irritating but then also just threw caution to the wind and laughed from the gut because it isn’t often in daily life you move through air like that. Cliche as it was, it was a moment of pure joy of letting loose with my sister. The moment ended all too soon.
* NPY’s Picture of the Day. While I’m in Toronto and he is in Vancouver, 3400km away, we will try to share with each other (and consequently this blog) pictures that capture our day.
