NPY’s PotD*: Day Forty-Two

He says, “Chris changed my iPad wallpaper as a prank… he was looking to use my iPad the whole night for that reason”

Ouch, it burns my eyes!! I “flipped” through the online images for this year’s ESPN Bodies Issue and it just seems as if Ryan Kesler’s pose and/or body and/or lighting was just more… lewd or something!!

NPY changed his wallpaper back to Stacy Kiebler or something.

Some days I’m downtown with a large block of time with nothing else on my agenda but to study! So I’ve found a few coffee shops that will do in a pinch around the downtown core but sometimes I get sick of coffee, especially the non-espresso percolated swill I buy to keep costs down. I’ve studied at Mercatto on Bay, a great new Second Cup at Bay/Lakeshore, Cafe on the Square at City Hall, and the communal table at the back of the Yonge-King Starbucks where by proximity I nearly got sold on the Arbonne pyramid scheme.

One day when studying at the City Hall branch of the Toronto Public Library absolutely did not work out, I wandered in the neighbourhood and ducked into Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, a downtown building that is attached (I believe) to Eaton Centre. There were no study areas (like a library) that I could enjoy and I needed an electrical outlet more than anything so, like all the students who were in between classes, I camped out in the hallway. There were no tables so I pulled a chair up to an outlet. It was horrible. Students seem to emit a lot of body heat and make the place so warm!

Well, my courses are in business and accounting so I kind of fit right in.

* NPY’s Picture of the Day. While I’m in Toronto and he is in Vancouver, 3400km away, we will try to share with each other (and consequently this blog) pictures that capture our day.
