I’m still not really sure what this is that NPY got from the BC Lions game. I just asked him one question, “Did you put this on your head?”
Hers:
I managed to convince Lil Sis to go to Nuit Blanche with me. As the day grew near, the hype grew and I really did not want to miss it. I made sure we caught the installations that were getting the most coverage like let-down Flightpath Toronto, weird robot-music Face Music, pyrotechnic The Heart Machine, the exterior of Ride the Rocket (queue was too long), creepy Stereo Efficiency Cheer, colourful Barricades, randomly dispersed Film, Vinyl, Paper, and the much-hyped light graffitti at Scotia Plaza. It was all so abstract and modern and we didn’t get it. The only one that kind of made sense was Combustion Cardiac Chamber where a car was deconstructed and the actual artist was present, banging away at the drums that were set up in the “car”. Oh well, at least I can check that one off my list.

* NPY’s Picture of the Day. While I’m in Toronto and he is in Vancouver, 3400km away, we will try to share with each other (and consequently this blog) pictures that capture our day.
