The TDot Experiment*: Day Eighty-Five

< NextPrevious >

Last year when Lil Sis was freshly moved to Toronto, I saw a Wynn Fitness Groupon–$19 for a 2-month membership and $20 Juice Bar card–and urged her to get the deal! It’s not just that I’m narcissistic and drawn to all things with my name (e.g., Wynn Hotels), but it is “one of Canada’s fastest growing fitness chains” and there two gym locations that are convenient for Lil Sis, on the way to and from work!

Then, more recently, there was a Groupon for 10 one-day visits for $10 and that I could not pass up. So now I, too, have joined Wynn. Day passes work out much better for me so long as the expiration date is far off and I also visit the condo gym. Wynn Fitness has a fun selection of group fitness classes, which is the advantage a commercial gym holds for me, including Socasize, Belly Fit, Groove, Latin Jam, and Zumba. The website describes a Ballet Sculpt class which of course interests me but it is either not offered in the fall or it is a derelict link and no longer offered. The group fitness classes with my name–Wynndurance, WynnSprints, WynnTabata–caught my attention but look really hard. Does Wynn=difficult?!?

******** This is a blog series complementing my regular blog posts with the original idea was to share our parallel lives, NPY’s and mine, while I’m in Toronto and he’s in Vancouver, 3,400 km away. For me, it’s been pretty fun because I’m this long-time blogger and enjoy repackaging parts of my life in “blog bites”. It’s been more difficult for NPY who hasn’t experienced a change in scenery (although I do not think it is necessary) so I’ll be continuing this with just my photos. I might have something every day. I might not.
