At my doorstep (Toronto Life Ep. 260)

My walk to work is short and direct and I love the feeling of the crowd also headed with single-minded purpose up Bay Street to various office towers. The first half of my walk, until I reach Front Street, is the ugliest in the world and quite unavoidable for the Gardiner runs east-west along the lake, across my walk, and I have to walk in a dark, dank, pigeon-infested underpass.

But… and I enjoy it every day, this is the view from my “doorstep”:

Yes, it’s another CN Tower snapshot, but it’s my view. I figure that everyone natively from or from around Toronto sigh and yawn. But it’s the people from away, like me, who really like the pointy tower year after year after year.
