When I was in Las Vegas in June, I shared with Lil Sis two recent developments.
I go to spin classes. Not often. Every two or three weeks when I want to change up my workout and hang out with a girlfriend who will join me. Recently, I have scheduled spin classes for shortly after my return from a trip where indulging inevitably happens!
@SoulCycle is in Vancouver now with the launch of their “YLTN” location. @thi_bagg got us into a Saturday session and the place was seriously happening and I felt so spoiled from cleaners resetting the studio between classes to a free bottle of water to a @NaturesPathOrganic Love Crunch bar to brand new shoes to wear. I dunno but there was something about their cheerful Yellow and Gray brand that was so cheerful and familiar and enticing… #valencia #soul #soulcycle #yaletown #vancouver #spinning #fitness @whoisnpy #lovecrunch
We got a Thule rear bike seat so the kid can join us on bike rides. I’m adamant that we take him out on average once a week.
Her response to these developments was to deem that I am “so Vancouver” although I would point out that my Vancouver cousin who is currently Copenhagen-based put her kid in a bike seat far earlier, that NPY and I are by no means revolutionary or overly Vancouver.
